Cambridge Chemistry Challenge

The Cambridge Chemistry Challenge is a competition that aims to stretch and challenge students interested in Chemistry, providing an excellent experience to those who are considering taking their studies further, to university and higher education. The international competition, organised by the Chemistry Department at St Catharine's College at the University of Cambridge, is an incredibly difficult 90-minute exam paper set by a team of teachers and university Chemists, taking them further in science than their current curriculum and encouraging them to think about science how they would do if they were at university.

We had 31 award winners this year - 18 Copper awards, 11 Silver, and 2 students won Gold - Layjha Contrevida and Crystal He.

Congratulations to all involved - it really was a tough paper this year. Thanks to Dr Smith for organising.
