On 31st January careers held the annual careers fair in the main hall. The event was open to all students and showcased a variety of different employers from all fields and sectors. Students were able to ask about work experience, apprenticeships, part time jobs and graduate roles - helping students to prepare for life after Notre Dame.
Liz Crick, careers advisor said '37 organisations attended our annual careers fair today including employers, colleges, and voluntary organisations. It was a great success, with over 1000 students attending the event. Employers thoroughly enjoyed the day and commented on the mature and professional attitude of our students. This is a great opportunity for our students to network with employers and find out more about opportunities in Leeds'.
One stall at the fair was one of our very own Notre Dame alumni, shown below. It's great to see our ex-students being successful and sharing their stories and advice with current students.
We had great feedback from the 37 employers who attended, commending the maturity and preparation from our students. It was a great day all round!
