On the 11th and 12th December Health and Social Care, Health T Level, and Education and Early Years T Level collectively raised money for Zarach, their current department charity and this year's college charity. Zarach provide beds and basics for children living in poverty, each bed bundle costs the charity £150 and helps those in need in Leeds.
Students came in wearing their pyjamas asking for donations to help buy beds for disadvantaged families whose children don't have beds. T Level Health also held a bake sale to raise further money.
Karen Blakeman, Acting Assistant Head of Health and Social Care said 'The students came on public transport in their PJs to raise money for our chosen charity Zarach, they are proud that their is a least one child in Leeds who will now have a bed this winter who would not have had one without their fundraising'.
A fantastic £214 was raised - thanks to all those who donated.
