On Thursday 9th November, year 12 Health T Level students visited Leeds Trinity University for their 'Nursing: A Career for the Future Event'. The day allowed students to explore various career pathways into the industry by meeting inspirational role models, taking part in workshops and activities and checking out a careers fair. Students also received a talk from Leeds and York Partnership NHS Foundation Trust Learning and Development Team on the transition from student to nurse.
Amy Hall, Acting Head of Health and Social Care, said 'our Health T Level students thoroughly enjoyed the day and felt inspired by the careers offered. It also confirmed students desire to work in the Health sector. The students especially enjoyed seeing Leeds Trinity's impressive new health simulation suite and engaging in practical activities. We really appreciate Leeds Trinity's time and effort in organising the event; staff and students found this very worthwhile.'
