Last week Notre Dame's history and politics department took 29 students to the School of Politics and International Studies at the University of Leeds. The visit included the chance for students to sample university lectures and seminars, allowing them to experience what their potential next steps after college might be like. They also received useful advice on applying to university, including personal statement writing, and a tour of the campus. One student quoted, 'The Leeds University trip provided valuable insight for the future, and it was amazing to see the lecturers in action talking about their fields of education'.
