On the 2nd October, our A-level Media and English students had the pleasure of attending a talk by Mark Casci, the current Head of Policy and Representation at West and North Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce. Mark was also former Business Editor at the Yorkshire Evening Post.
Mark detailed his life as a journalist, including the route he took to get into his career, He discussed the opportunities that the students should take to have a successful career in journalism, giving a very insightful input. Feedback from students was fantastic, with many being inspired to kick-start their journalism careers.
A huge thank you to Mark for giving up his time to help our students think about life after Notre Dame. There will be lots of similar opportunities available to students across the various subjects, so keep your eyes peeled!
