Leeds Trinity University welcomed Notre Dame’s A-level Philosophy, Ethics and Religious Studies (PERS) students again this year.
On June 5, the University offered a bespoke subject focus day for our students, that began with a tour of its campus, followed by three lectures that focused on religion and gender, religious language, and the question of whether God is a person. Dr Richard Playforth also spoke on a fourth subject; his research on the relationship between religion and the possibility of alien life.
Director of Catholic Life at Notre Dane, Catherine Herring, said, “We’d like to thank the University for taking the time to give our students an idea of what higher education study is like. They really enjoyed hearing about life as a university student, and appreciated the opportunity to ask the lecturers about their work.”
