As part of the Geography department's programme to ensure that students are aware of the range of opportunities available in the growing green economy, a group of A Level students visited Sheffield Hallam University. The day involved a range of activities including modelling glacial movements, designing sustainable cities and investigating how UK uplands could be re-wilded.
Richard Hurrell, teacher of geography said 'Making students aware of the increasing opportunities available in the green economy helps to motivate them in their A Level studies for their future prospects. The day was enjoyed by all'.
