On Wednesday 23rd January, 17 Notre Dame students attended an advertising careers talk with McCann’s strategy director, Miles Williams. McCann Worldgroup is one of the world’s leading creative advertising agencies. Based and founded in New York, they have 120 offices around the globe, including one right here in Leeds. Their advertising output includes 'Did Somebody Say Just Eat', and Aldi's Kevin the Carrot Christmas advert.
Miles spoke to students about the creative advertising industry and what a day in the life of a McCann employee is like. He discussed some of the company's most successful campaigns and the ideas process that led to the creation of these iconic advertisements.
Students received praise from our guest speaker for asking some fantastic questions.
