On behalf of Notre Dame Catholic Sixth Form College we would love to wish a huge congratulations to the 14 students who have received a conditional offer to study at either the University of Oxford or Cambridge, two of the top universities in the world. We are immensely proud of all the Oxbridge applicants from Notre Dame, it is a very daunting and demanding process that is highly competitive. Getting this far is an achievement in itself!
Pictured above are (nearly) all the students who were made an offer, with Principal Justine Barlow and Enhancing Excellence Coordinators Mrs Smith and Miss Graham. The Enhancing Excellence programme support students who are taking the more competitive routes into higher education; looking to go to the top universities in the country, or study Medicine, Dentistry or Veterinary Sciences. You can find out more about this here.
We would also like to take the time to thank all Notre Dame staff who have helped all our Oxbridge applicants through extra reading, support with mock-interviews, and the encouragement that they have given our students.
