Congratulations to eight of Notre Dame’s upper sixth students who’ve been offered places to study at the Universities of Oxford or Cambridge!
21 of our students applied to the University of Oxford this year with nine being interviewed after preliminary testing. Five then received conditional offers.
18 Notre Dame students applied to the University of Cambridge, with 14 called to interview and three offered a conditional place to study in September 2022.
We are very proud of all our Oxbridge applicants. The selection process is gruelling and highly competitive, so much so that nationally only 1 in every 5.7 Oxbridge applicants has been made a conditional offer for a September 2022 start, which equates to 18%. We’re really pleased that 21% of our students who applied to Oxbridge have been given a conditional offer; that’s 1 in every 4.9.
Pictured above are the students who’ve been successful in securing a conditional Oxbridge place, alongside Enhancing Excellence teachers Hannah Smith and Miss Graham, and our principal Justine Barlow. For the full list of the students' names, please see the table below. We wish them the very best of luck with their studies.
Thank you to all Notre Dame staff who have gone above and beyond to help, encourage and advise these students, chairing discussion groups, supporting students with essays, providing reading lists, running mock interviews, and generally offering practical and emotional support. Our students could not have achieved their offers without you.
