PTE lessons for lower sixth and level 2 students over the last 3 weeks have included a visit to our beautiful college chapel. This means almost 1500 students have had the chance to learn about the history of Notre Dame and experience the special atmosphere of the sacred space which lies at the heart of college. For some students this was the first time they had visited a Christian place of worship. One lower sixth student said 'It's just so beautiful and you would never know it is here from the outside'. Students also learnt about opportunities for personal prayer, celebration of lunchtime Masses and other college liturgies which take place in the chapel.
Prayer spaces in the college are -
- Morning Prayer - Monday-Thursday - 8:30am - Chapel
- Mass - Tuesday and Tuesday - 1:15pm - Chapel
- Prayer Space - everyday - 4-4:30pm - SE37
