Sister Teresita Weind, SNDdeN - the congregational leader of the sisters of Notre Dame - died 28th April 2024.
Some of our staff and students at Notre Dame were lucky to meet her at the opening of the Notre Dame International Peace Garden in Liverpool on Wednesday 26 September 2018. The garden was opened and blessed by Sister Teresita who gave a speech during the event, which upper sixth student Mufaro Wande said was wonderful - ‘Her talk about peace was simple and uncomplicated. It was very moving and emotional, and made me feel part of something much bigger'.
