On Friday 18th October we welcomed Team ND, our sports teams, coaches, captains and supporters into the Chapel to celebrate the last year's achievements and pray for the year ahead. During the service, one representative from each team lit a candle, the choir led in two hymns - Be Thou My Vision and Abide With Me, and there were readings and prayers to pray for the upcoming season through a still and silent moment.
Following last year, which was Team ND's best season yet, we are hoping for another excellent year for all our teams, and the Sports Liturgy Service is the perfect way to start this.
Scott Broadley, Head of PE and Sport, said 'It was a fantastic liturgy for the Team ND faithful. It was standing room only and we wish our sports teams the best for the upcoming season'.
