Here at Notre Dame, we hosted and ran a T Level Provider Insight Day for the Association of Colleges on November 24.
Attendees included representatives from the Department for Education as well as senior staff from Bradford Sixth Form College, Elliott Hudson College, Garforth Academy, Inspire Education Group, Maltby Academy, Mirfield Sixth Form College, and St Mary's College Hull.
The day began with breakfast and a welcome from our Principal. This was followed by an introduction to T Levels at Notre Dame; our capital bids, the new T Levels we’ll be offering from September, and our organisational structure. Teachers from our Digital and Health T Levels shared their success stories and summer 2022 results.
Attendees toured our Digital T Level facilities, then enjoyed an excellent lunch. After this break, our Employer Engagement Lead talked about arranging the industry placements that are such a key part of any T Level programme. She then outlined the role that our achievement tutors play in supporting T Level students. The day ended with a question-and-answer session.
