Workplace experience is a key part of every T Level programme, gained not only though extended industry placements but also by visiting relevant employers. On November 18, Notre Dame’s T Level Business and Administration students took a trip to Sound Leisure Limited in Crossgates, which manufactures and sells juke boxes and games room products.
During their visit, our students gained an insight into Sound Leisure’s production and quality assurance processes, as well as quality control within their business. A member of their finance department spoke to our students about her role.
After the visit, Jim Mullowney, Head of Business & Administration T-Level commented: 'It was good for the students to get out of the classroom and experience a local manufacturer at work. It really brought alive the subject of business.'
