T Levels Week 2024

Last week was National #TLevelsWeek, a national event that showcases the benefits of the qualification to students, parents and other employers. T Levels are referred to as a 'technical qualification', and have been designed with employers to meet the skills needs within various sectors. Students spend 80% of their time in the classroom and 20% (315-hours or 45-days) on a work placement with a real life employer, allowing them to put the skills they have learnt into practice.

At Notre Dame, we currently offer 4 T Levels - Business and Administration, Digital, Education and Early Years, and Health. From September 2025, we will also be offering Legal Services and Media, Broadcast and Production. You can explore our T Levels here.

Throughout the week, we were showcasing our courses, facilities, and student destinations. We also did a Q&A and mythbusting of common misconceptions. You can catch up on this on our Instagram highlight on @notredamecoll.

In college, our Health T Level students were offering free health checks to all staff. This included blood pressure, temperature, BMI and oxygen saturation levels. We also had a student nurse and student midwife from Bradford University to support with this and showcase some of the future pathways for our Health T Level students.
