Team ND's Best Year Yet

It has been a historic year for Team ND, winning titles and entire new teams being established. Particular successes include - 

• Women's volleyball team won the Yorkshire and Humberside Regional Championships
• Badminton are the Yorkshire and Humberside Regional Champions - for the first time ever!
• Badminton came third in the National Cup - well done Neil and the team
• Men's Football 1st team are the Yorkshire and Humberside Champions

On Wednesday 8th all the sports teams were able to come together with their coaches and other staff members to celebrate the years achievements. The night included speeches from each coach, awards for every team; including players' player of the year, most improved players and coach's player of the year, as well as a quiz and photobooth. Dan Appleyard, captain of the Badminton team won the Victor Ludorum or the 'Winner of Games' and Esme Astbury took home the Vitrix Ludorum.

Well done to our other teams, including Basketball who came 3rd in the league, Netball who have had a tough season with an essentially brand new team, the new Rugby Union team (with a women's team on the way!) and the Table Tennis Team.

A huge thank you to all the players, coaches, supporters and volunteers who have helped throughout the year. Bring on the 2025 season!
