On Friday 18th October, Notre Dame Catholic Sixth Form College was flooded with staff and students wearing pink . This was an initiative led by students in the 'Random Acts of Kindness' enrichment, to promote knowledge and understanding of Breast Cancer and raise the profile of National Breast Cancer awareness week by getting Notre Dame students and staff involved in 'Wear it Pink' day.
'Breast cancer is the most common form of cancer in the UK but also highly treatable if identified in the early stages. Notre Dame students wore pink to raise awareness and show solidarity with those whose lives have been affected' - U6 student, Eva Thompson
