Last week, English Language has a visiting speaker in, Andy Carter, who writes a successful blog and has had a couple of books published. He spoke to the students about how to write a successful blog as well as how to pursue as a career as a writer. The lecture theatre was full, with English Language A-level students making up the majority of the attendees. A-level English Language students study one of Andy's blogs as part of the course, hence why they were so keen to attend - an English Language celebrity!
Andy is also Notre Dame alumni, attending in the early 2000s and has found memories of being taught English Literature by Kitty Graham!
